FAQs
The NETHIDNSPAK (NETWORXPANEL with HID proximity readers only) does not include a keypad. How do I pair the RR-1BUTTON Wireless Remote Release Button to the NETWORXPANEL without use of a keypad?
As the NETHIDNSPANEL does not include a keypad, it is not possible to perform keypad Function 65 (normally used to pair the RR-1BUTTON to a Networx lockset or NETWORXPANEL). However, you can purchase the RR-TRILOGYKIT which includes a small RR-RECEIVER. The RR-RECEIVER has an integral "Learn" button, and you can pair the RR-1BUTTON to the RR-RECEIVER (detailed instructions are included with the RR-TRILOGYKIT).
The RR-RECEIVER is basically a remote control relay PC board that includes two attached white wires that provide a normally-open relay circuit. Connect these two white wires from the RR-RECEIVER to the remote release input terminals on the NETWORXPANEL. Be sure to also enable the Remote Input feature using the DL-Windows software.
Note: The RR-RECEIVER is designed to use the standard Trilogy battery pack (part number S6061) as its power source. It is highly recommended that this battery pack be used because the voltage output and plug-in connector are both compatible with the RR-RECEIVER design.
