Answer:
NO...In order to support TLS 1.2, you need to upgrade to CA4K.  The CA3000 does not support it and must use the older TLS 1.0 / 1.1.

Answer:
The Database Task Service does not get installed on a CardAccess 3000 Workstation. You must check the settings in the Database Utilities and verify they are configured for a Workstation and are correct. 

How do I improve the performance of the CardAccess 3000 software?

Answer:
The CardAccess 3000 communications driver is designed to use CPU 0. There is no way to permanently change that. It is recommended to change the affinity on SQL Server to use another CPU. This will improve performance of the CardAccess 3000 software.

Why is the CardAccess 3000 communications driver (hostnt.exe) using 100 percent of CPU 0 usage?

Answer:
This is nothing to be concerned with. if any other application needs the CPU, the communication driver will release the CPU. This is by design. It uses the idle thread of the CPU.
