What is the recommended technique for removing the CR2032 battery from the GEM-TRANSLP wireless transmitter?
Remove the transmitter rear cover to access the battery holder. Find the two gold-colored metal contacts on opposite sides of the CR2032 battery. Using a small flat tool such as a 1/8" screwdriver, locate the space between the gold contacts and the battery that is closest to the white tamper switch. Insert the tool into this space and gently pry the battery up and clear. The battery should completely release (pop out) very easily. Replace with a fresh battery, always observing the correct battery polarity, with positive facing up as shown in the following image:
