FAQs
How do I pair a wireless remote release button to the NETWORXPANEL?
Whether the NETWORXPANEL is wired with one or two keypads or is configured for a single door or for "Two Door Mode", the pairing of a wireless remote release button to the NETWORXPANEL is the same. If the NETWORXPANEL is wired with two keypads, the pairing of the remote release button can be performed at either keypad. Up to 10 wireless remote release buttons can be paired to the NETWORXPANEL.
1. At the locking device keypad, enter Program Mode (press the Master Code followed by the AL key).
2. To pair the first remote release button, press:
[AL key] 6 5 AL 1 [STAR key]
Verify keypad sounds "beep-beep-beep" continuously. (The "beep-beep-beep" indicates the NETWORXPANEL is ready to pair a remote release button; the NETWORXPANEL will wait about 30 seconds for the next step).
3. With the wireless remote in hand, observe its LED as you perform the next steps:
a. Press and hold one of the four buttons.
b. The red LED lights...keep holding the button…
c. When the LED flashes green, release the button...
d. Wait a few seconds...observe the LED as follows:
LED solid green = Pairing successful. Go to step 4 to pair another remote release button.
LED solid red = Pairing unsuccessful. Start again at step 2.
4. To pair another wireless remote release button, you must start again at step 2, but with a slight change, as follows:
As previously stated, up to 10 wireless remote release buttons may be paired to the NETWORXPANEL. Each button added occupies a "slot" (numbered 1-10); therefore, increment the "slot" number of the new button in step 2. For example, when pairing the first remote in step 2, you pressed:
[AL key] 6 5 [AL key] 1 [STAR key]
To pair a second remote, you will need to press:
[AL key] 6 5 [AL key] 2 [STAR key]
To pair a third remote, you will need to press:
[AL key] 6 5 [AL key] 3 [STAR key]
...and so on. Therefore, to enroll another wireless remote release button, go to step 2, but use the incremented button "slot" number.
