How do I configure my new AL-DTM III using DL-Windows? How do I configure my new lock to communicate with the AL-DTM III, and have the AL-DTM III send the program to my new lock?
1 Configure the AL-DTM III for Door Select Mode:
- Power the AL-DTM III and press the green button until "PC Comm Mode" appears.
- Press and hold both the green and far left button simultaneously.
- When the display reads "Entering Config/Test Mode", release the buttons.
- Press the green button twice: "Config Door Select Mode" appears.
- Press and hold the green button until you hear a single beep.
- Set Door Select to ON.
- Press the green button to exit Door Select Mode.
- Press the green button 7 more times until "Exit to Standby" appears.
- To exit, press and hold the green button until you hear a single beep.
2 Programming the AL-DTM III with DL-Windows:
- Connect the AL-DTM III to the computer.
- Open the DTM screen to display all of your locks supported by the AL-DTM III.
- Use the DTM Function column to select the correct action.
- Use the Selected column to select one or more locks to be programmed.
- Left click the Program DTM for Selected Locks button.
- When complete, the bottom of the DTM window will display "Transmission Successful".
3 Set Up a New Lock to be Programmed by the AL-DTM III:
- Place the lock into Program Mode by pressing the Master Code then [AL].
- Program your unique Master Code: [AL] [1] [AL] New Master [AL] New Master [STAR]
- Program your DTM Download Code: [AL] [2] [AL] [2] [9] [9] [AL] Code [STAR]
4 Programming a New Lock with the AL-DTM III:
- Set the AL-DTM III to Door Select Mode.
- The AL-DTM III will display: Operation Mode? (Choose SELECT).
- The AL-DTM III will display: Lock Mode? (Choose NO).
- The AL-DTM III will display: Door Select Mode? (Choose YES).
- Connect the AL-DTM III to the lock.
- Confirm/Select the door number on the AL-DTM III display.
- Select GO on the AL-DTM III display.
- At the lock keypad, press the DTM Download Code.
- When complete, the AL-DTM III will display "Comm. Complete".
