FAQs
How can I arm both partitions (Areas) of a Gemini system at the same time with a keyswitch and with a Keyfob?
1. Install a N/O momentary keyswitch and assign the keyswitch zone to which it is wired to both Areas. Every time the keyswitch is activated (closed) it will arm / disarm both Areas.
2. With version 10 or 10A Gemini control panel software, you can assign Keyfob points as zones, as follows: [ON] = point 1, [OFF] = point 2, [A1] = point 3 and [A2] = point 4.
By assigning any one of these points to the same keyswitch zone (above), a press of the Keyfob button can arm / disarm both Areas. You can also achieve independent Area arm / disarm by assigning any of the remaining points to a different keyswitch zone that is assigned to one Area or another.
Note: Once you assign any Keyfob point to a zone, you can no longer use the Keyfob [ON] / [OFF] arm / disarm feature. They will now react as points 1 & 2 when pressed.
These features are currently keypad programmable only.
Note: This applies to all Gemini control panels, except the GEM-P1632 and GEM-P1664, when zone doubled.
