If the Internet connection fails at the customer premises, will the ISEE-IVR still record the iSeeVideo camera video images?
Yes, the ISEE-IVR continues to record when the Internet connection fails at the premises. However, if a power failure is the cause, the ISEE-IVR will not record if the customer’s router and/or ISEE-WAP lose power. We recommend a sufficient backup battery be used to maintain this local network connectivity. Furthermore, the ISEE-IVR cannot be viewed locally if the Internet connection is not working. Only when the Internet connection returns can the customer log in to iSeeVideo and view what the ISEE-IVR recorded when the Internet connection was not working.
