When a (P)DL4100 or (P)DL4500 "Privacy" door lock is in use with Privacy mode engaged, will Administrative User Codes override (i.e., "bypass") Privacy mode to allow access through the door?
When a (P)DL4100 or (P)DL4500 "Privacy" door lock is in use with Privacy mode engaged, remember that all Administrative User Codes will override (i.e., "bypass") Privacy mode to allow access through the door. By design, all Administrative User Codes (User Numbers 1-9, circled below) allow Privacy mode to be bypassed, should an emergency occur and access through the door must be obtained.
