Why is my NAPCO E-Access RMC shortcut no longer working?
When you create a shortcut for RMC, do not use the URL from the "Secure Link" in RMC. If you do use this URL, the port number will change, and the shortcut will no longer work. The proper way to create a shortcut for RMC is to go into RMC > Device Management.
Click the number for the Device (left side of screen) and a Property page for the device displays. On the top right of this Property page, click "COPY DEVICE LINK" and paste this value into a new shortcut for the location (URL). This URL will not change, and the shortcut will work correctly.
