FAQs
Why does a daily trouble notification appear on my StarLink Dual Path communicator inputs, either Input 2 or Input 3?
The programming for your on-board communicator inputs may be set to the incorrect option, or a 10KΩ end-of-line resistor is missing.
For communicator inputs to be supervised by a 10KΩ resistor, Supervision/Fire Alarm must be selected in the NAPCO NOC website (at www.NapcoNOC.com, see image, below). Other options such as Supervised Fire Alarm/Trouble require a 9SLE10KHARN harness (provided with Sole Path model communicators). Note: Settings located under the Inputs/Outputs are all set by default, should you wish to immediately perform an upload.
