FAQs
When restoring my DL-Windows database by importing a .bak file, why do I receive an error message?
When restoring your DL-Windows database using any type of backup .bak file, this .bak file must reside in a certain folder when it is imported. If this .bak file is placed in any other location (Desktop, CD-Rom, etc.), DL-Windows will be unable to restore your database.
To restore your database, you must ensure the .bak file resides in the same folder in which it was created, i.e. the default path C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.ALSQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\Backup
