With the Gemini control panels GEM-P816, GEM-P1632, GEM-P1664, can I use the keypad to enable the Test Timer feature using "Direct Address Programming"?

Yes, Test Timer programming can be performed using the keypad only when the following are both true: 

• The control panel firmware version is 30 or greater

--and--

• An alphanumeric keypad (the GEM-RP1CAe2 is used in the example below)

To program Test Timer using Direct Address (keypad) programming:

1. Enter the Dealer Keypad Program Code and press FUNCTION.  The keypad will display the zone directory.
2. Press BYPASS until "Activate Program" is displayed and press YES (press STAY or INSTANT).  The keypad will display "# Area 1 Keypads, Enter # KPs".
3. Press NO (AWAY or INSTANT) until "Test Timer" is displayed.
4. Program Test Timer day(s) of week and time, and press ON/OFF to save.
5. Press RESET once.  Keypad will display "0000".
6. Press 0840 and press 1. 
7. Press ON/OFF to save. 
8. Press RESET to exit Direct Address programming.
