FAQs
I upgraded my StarLink SLE radio firmware and the D3, D4 and D5 LEDs still remain lit in bootloader mode. How do I get the radio back to normal operation?
ANSWER #1:
Verify that you loaded the correct firmware version for your radio model. The SLE-GSM (2G), SLE-GSM-3/4G and CDMA (Luminary) radios (radios on www.NapcoNoc.com), SLE-GSM-3/4G and CDMA (TIVA) radios including all commercial models (radios on www.NapcoNoc2.com) and StarLink Connect SLE-CDMA-Z and SLE-CDMA-C model radios all use different versions of firmware. Refer to WI2003 StarLink SLE Radio Communicator Firmware Update Instructions for the correct version to be loaded into your radio. If the wrong version was loaded, simply load the correct firmware version to the radio to bring the unit back to normal operation. If you are unsure of the correct version to load, contact NAPCO Technical Support at 1-800-654-9440.
ANSWER #2:
If the correct version was loaded into the radio, the radio operate normally. If reloading the radio firmware does not correct the issue, contact NAPCO Technical Support at 1-800-654-9440. NOTE: When updating the radio firmware remotely, always select "Smart Download".
