FAQs
I am not receiving SMS texts nor emails through iBridge Messenger. Do you have a list of items I can check to troubleshoot the system?
- I pre-installed the latest firmware in my IBR-ZREMOTE, or I updated my IBR-ZREMOTE to the current RCM version RG7 (replaced by 3H7) and current Z-Wave Luminary 6167 (replaced by 6165).
- I installed the latest EPROM firmware into the control panel (for the GEM-P1632 Series: V31A or greater; for the GEM-P3200 Series: V60a23 or greater; for the "No EPROM" Series: 71K or greater).
- In the http://www.ibridgeonline.com/ Dealer Administration site (logged in with my ComNet credentials): For my customer account, I entered all the correct information under "Notification Settings", including Panel Type and Panel Security Code, and I allowed both User / Zone Description updates (see WI2119).
- In the http://www.ibridgeonline.com/ Dealer Administration site (logged in with my ComNet credentials): For my customer account, I selected "Yes" and clicked "Update i/z Remote Settings". Note: Press "Retrieve i/z Remote Settings" and you should see a "thumbs up" and it will display the Notification Server IP Address 208.109.208.163. This indicates your device is checking in to the iBridge Server.
- The serial cable is connected to the LOCAL DOWNLOAD jack on the control panel. This cable is required to initially upload your user codes/sensor list and also to remotely upload and download to your control panel.
- At https://notifications.ibridgeonline.com/ I initially performed an upload of my user codes and my complete sensor list (Note: The default Master Security Code to access user codes is "123").
- In the PCD-Windows Quickloader "Keypad Assignment" screen, my IBR-ZREMOTE keypad address has been added to the Area and set to Type "RCM".
- Both CAT5 cables are connected to the IBR-ZREMOTE.
- I programmed the correct keypad "Address" and "Type" (GEM-RP1CAe2 or GEM-K1CA) into the IBR-ZREMOTE through keypad configuration (see page 7 of WI1980B).
- I ensured the second Internet port located on the right side of the IBR-ZREMOTE is connected and receiving an IP address. Note: This secondary port can only be assigned an IP address through DHCP only on your router; to indicate connectivity, the LED "D7" will be solid amber and the LED "D6" will blink green.
