How can I identify receiver formats on a Magnum Alert MA800 control panel? (Models DD1484 and DD1486 Digital Micro-Communicators)
To identify the receiver format, place the chip into the sub-prom socket of the PRO-410 programmer. With power on, press SET, then the following locations:
Location 251: If the letter "C" appears, the prom has been formatted for the Magnum Alert MA800 control panel. If the letter "D" appears, the prom is formatted for the DD1484 or DD1486.
Location 253: Indicates the receiver format for which the control panel or micro-communicator is programmed. See the following list:
1 = Ademco with Pulsing Hold
2 = Ademco Slow
3 = Sescoa, Vertex, DCI
4 = Radionics, Super Fast
5 = Silent Knight Fast
6 = Radionics DCI Slow
Note: Changing location 253 will not change the format; location 253 and location 251 can only be used for identifying the prom.
