How can I resolve a System Trouble E26 (Ground Fault) while downloading on a Napco Gemini or Magnum Alert Control Panel?
A system trouble "E26 SERVICE, System Gnd Fault" will appear while performing a local download to the control panel if the download computer is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Remove the trouble by simply waiting for the download to complete and unplug the download cable from the control panel.
The system trouble will automatically reset without further action required.
Note: If the notebook PC being used to download to the control panel is operating on battery power only and not plugged into a grounded electrical outlet, a ground fault will not occur.
