FAQs
How do you remove a Bluetooth smartphone from an ArchiTech series (N90 or N95) door lock? How will each Bluetooth user appear in the DL-Windows database?
When you add your first Bluetooth (smartphone) User to an ArchiTech series lock, the smartphone will become User 7000 in the lock (a log entry will be generated for User 7000 every time that smartphone is used to open the lock). A second smartphone added will become User 7001, a third smartphone will become User 7002, etc.
DL-Windows does not currently allow control of Users above 5000; however, "Bluetooth ON" and "Bluetooth OFF" events can be created in the DL-Windows Schedule screen (in DL-Windows versions 5.3.3 [BETA] or greater).
To delete an individual Bluetooth User (in other words, how to remove the smartphone):
- You must have the smartphone to be removed in your possession
- Use the app on that smartphone to delete the lock from that smartphone
Alternatively, the lock can be manually reset (defaulted). See the section in the User's Guide (OI385) titled "Erase All Programming" to restore the lock to its "out of box" factory condition.
