FAQs
How do I programming NAC circuits for Resettable and Non-Resettable power with my Gemini C-Series (GEMC) control panel?
Some fire alarm systems require devices to be powered. Any of the NAC circuits can be programmed to supply 24VDC, and they can also be programmed to drop power to restore devices upon a Fire Alarm Restore. Note: The 24V supplied by NAC D is unregulated; if regulated 24V is required, install the GEMC-24VR 24 Volt "Regulated" Output Module. In addition, NAC D can also be used for Regulated 12VDC constant auxiliary power or Resettable Power by removing motherboard jumper J600. To program using PCD-Windows Quickloader software, open the NAC/Output Assignment screen, NAC/Output Assignments tab:
For Resettable power:
- Check both Reverse Polarity and Fire Reset.
For Non-Resettable power:
- Check Reverse Polarity only.
