FAQs
I am integrating my NAPCO GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 and/or GEM-X255 control panel with Control4 automation controllers. How can I bypass open zones on the control panel through Control4 when Control4 does not have this selective bypass ability?
The Global Bypass option is only available with the Gemini GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 and GEM-X255 control panels. To bypass an open zone, the standard "selective bypass" procedure is used at a system keypad. As Control4 does not have this selective bypass ability, to bypass open zones on the GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 and/or GEM-X255 control panels through Control4, place a checkmark next to the Enable-All-Zone-In-Trouble Bypass option (upon arming, any open zone will automatically bypass). This option is located in the PCD-Windows Quickloader Keypad Assignment screen, Keypad Features tab (see image below).
The Gemini GEM-P816, GEM-P1632 and GEM-P1664 control panels do not allow for bypassing all open zones with a single command. However, these panels can automatically bypass all open zones upon arming if the zone is configured to do so. In zone programming (see below image), uncheck Priority Zone and check AutoBypass (Global Bypass is not required to be enabled in composer).
