How do I install an ESSEX Electronics KTP-103-SN keypad with the GEM-ACM1/2D?

ESSEX Electronics KTP-103-SN
Wire the ESSEX Electronics KTP-103-SN to the GEM-ACM1D or GEM-2D as follows:
1. Connect the keypad using the appropriate keypad wires as shown in Figure 1 below. Be sure to select the proper input voltage for the keypad (either 5V or 12V). IMPORTANT: Do NOT apply voltage to the BROWN wire or the keypad LEDs will burn out!

2. Program the keypad as an Access Group using PCD-Windows Quickloader software (User Assignment screen, User/Access Groups tab (see Figure 2).

3. Click the Cards tab, check the Enable column for a new Card Description, Card Code (any numerical code under x digits will work) and the proper Access Group (in the example in Figure 3 below, Access Group "9").

4. Download all programming data back into the control panel (in the User Assignment screen, under "Cards", check the "All" option and click OK).
5. When the download is complete, test the system by using the "virtual card code" (in the example shown in Figure 3, use "11223"). Verify the door strike is released by the ESSEX keypad.
Troubleshooting
Keypad LED Indications:
- Rapid flashing from red to green (1x) = Invalid Card Entry
- Red to green, where green LED holds for door entry time = Valid Entry
- Rapid flashing from red to green (repeatedly) = Wire Short
