FAQs
How do I generate an AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) inspection report for FWC-FSLC detectors?
Connect PCD-Windows Quickloader to the control panel and click Panel History > Status History > Update. When the update process completes, click SLC1 (Fire), then click the AHJ tab (at the bottom of the dialog). The screen that appears will display the status of all SLC smoke, heat and duct detectors installed and programmed into the GEMC-FW-SLC Fire Signaling Line Circuit Module:
The column abbreviations are defined as follows:
- Sen - Displays the smoke sensitivity (in % per foot obscuration or °F that will trigger an alarm).
- ATL - Alarm Threshold Level (analog value at which a sensor will trigger an alarm).
- CAV - Current Analog Value (instantaneous analog value of the sensor sensitivity).
- Status - Normal means the detector does not require maintenance. Trouble means the detector is not in compliance with NFPA 72 (needs cleaning, etc.)
- NFPA72 - Yes means that the detector is within compliance of NFPA 72 requirements for a detector operating within its marked and Listed sensitivity range. No means Trouble.
The report can be printed and included in an inspection report to the AHJ.
