How do I upload or connect to a Gemini GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 or GEM-X255 control panel using PCD-Manager software?
To upload or connect to a Gemini GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 or GEM-X255 control panel with PCD-Manager software, you must first program the "Master Security Code" into the PCD-Manager's control panel account. To maintain the security of the control panel, this is a "hidden" feature that must first be "unlocked", as follows:
1. With the PCD-Manager software open, press and hold the Alt keyboard key, then press the U key.
2. In the Dealer Password popup (shown below), type the dealer password "Napco".
Note: This screen will disappear after you click OK (this is normal).
3. Click File > Edit Account.
The Edit Account screen appears:
In the Control Panel Security Code field, type a new password to change the "Master Security Code" in the PCD-Manager's control panel account. Click OK to save this information.
Connect To The Control Panel
a. To connect to the control panel, click Communications > Control Panel Communication.
b. In the Control Panel Communication screen that opens, select the communication modes and options as needed and click Send / Receive to initiate the communication process.
