How do I change the handing of Alarm Lock T2 / T3 cylindrical locks after the lock is installed on the door?
To change the handing, you must remove the Lever and rotate lock body assembly.
To remove a standard cylinder Lever, insert the key provided (also called a "Release Pin") into the outside cylinder, as shown in the image below. Turn clockwise 45 degrees and depress the Lever catch. Pull the Lever off.
To remove an IC cylinder Lever, insert the Control Key and remove the IC cylinder. Use a screwdriver to carefully depress the IC Lever catch (see image below). Pull the Lever off.
Rotate the outside spindle 180 degrees. Be sure Lever catch (circled below) faces the latch.
