How do you configure the TOGGLE mode in CardAccess 3000 and CA4K to lock and unlock doors using Continental Controllers (panels)?

The Toggle mode (Single Swipe) for Relays is supported in the CardAccess 3000, V2.9.88 and V2.11.x.

The CA4K has a double tap feature for panels and locks. It is not recommended to use the Toogle Mode (30000) feature in the CA4K.

If you are using V2.9.88 or V2.11.x firmware, you configure the toggle relay function as follows:

Functionality:

1) Configure the door strike relay under Configuration>Relays.

2) Configure the energize time for 30,000.

3) Under Readers>Options, set the Door strike time to zero.

4) Swipe a valid badge. The relay will stay energized indefinitely after any valid badge is swiped.

5) Swipe the same or any other valid badge and the relay deenergizes.
