For Control Panels GEM-P816, GEM-P1632, GEM-P1664, GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600, GEM-X255: Normally, the system trouble audible indication at the keypad can be silenced by simply pressing the keypad Reset key. However, if no one is present to press Reset, can the keypad beeping upon a trouble condition be silenced automatically? My dog is greatly disturbed by the keypad beeping.
By default, the system trouble audible indication at the keypad will sound for 10 minutes, or until the user presses the Reset key. However, there is an option to eliminate the system trouble audible at the keypad in cases where pets or others may be disturbed.
For Gemini control panels GEM-P816, GEM-P1632 and GEM-P1664:
- For keypad programming: "Inhibit System Trouble Audible at Keypad"; address 1423, enable option 7.
- In PCD-Windows Quickloader, open the Keypad Assignment screen, Keypad Features tab. Click to enable the option "Disable System Trouble Audible".
For Gemini control panels GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 and GEM-X255:
- For keypad programming: "Disable System Trouble Audible (at Keypad)"; address 2420, enable option 1.
- In PCD-Windows Quickloader, open the Keypad Assignment screen, Keypad Features tab. Click to enable the option "Disable System Trouble Audible".
