FAQs
How do you configure a Lockdown using the CardAccess 3000?
Configuring a lock down in the CardAccess 3000 software is done using the following features:
1) Configure Area Lockdown - In the CardAccess 3000, you can configure Area Lockdown. Using this feature, you must configure areas, which can be all doors in one building or multiple buildings. With one click of a mouse, you can lock down a whole school or separate buildings on campus.

NOTE: The above functions are two separate functions in the CardAccess 3000. In the CA4K, Lockdown Areas are used in conjunction with Threat level management. Refer to the Continental Video Library for CA4K videos discussing Threat level Management.
