How do I disable a Fire Zone in a Gemini C-Series (GEMC) control panel?

To disable GEMC C-Series control panel zones, proceed as follows:

1. Enter the Master Security or Fire user code and unlock the GEMC-FK1 Fire keypad.
2. Press MENU until the display reads Display Zone Directory, then press YES.
3. Zone#1 will appear in the keypad display, press next or prior until the zone you need to disable appears in the screen then press the Disable (silence) button; repeat for each zone needed to be disabled.
4. When all necessary zones are disabled press RESET; the keypad will display "Disable" and "Trouble".

 

To re-enable GEMC C-Series control panel zones, proceed as follows:

1. Enter the Master Security Code or Fire User Code and unlock the GEMC-FK1 Fire keypad.
2. Press MENU until the display reads Display Zone Directory, then press YES.
3. Zone#1 will appear in the keypad display.  Press NEXT or PRIOR until the zone you need to re-enable appears in the screen, then press DISABLE (SILENCE).  Repeat for each zone needed to be re-enabled.

      Note:  Do NOT use the Disable Zone utility in the Fire Keypad Function Menu.
