My GEMC-FK1 Fire keypad indicates an "E-28 Error Check Required". How do I clear this trouble?
This message appears because the system was enabled to allow the downloading of Fire programming to the control panel. Clear this error with Quickloader software, connected to the control panel either locally or remotely. First connect to the control panel, click on your data transfer option, click the Attempt to Clear ERROR CHECK REQ'D Trouble radio button (see example below) then click OK. The software will verify the programming and clear the E28 trouble from the Fire keypad.
