I am a locksmith who was just given responsibility for programming several door locks within a building. Although I can identify them as manufactured by Alarm Lock, how can I identify the specific lock models when I do not have the manuals or any other information?
Shown below are three Alarm Lock models that are similar in appearance, but they contain small differences that will help you identify them.
- At left, a lock without the red and black ports under the keypad is a DL2700.
- The middle lock with the red and black ports located to the left and under the "star" key is a DL3000.
- At right, a lock with the red and black ports located in the center under the "zero" key is a DL2800.
