FAQs
I need to reset my lock back to its original factory settings and "Erase All Programming". The process listed in the manual does not seem to work. How can I resolve this? (For cylindrical locks DL2700, DL2800, DL3000, DL3200, DL4100, PDL3000, PDL4100)
Some locks work differently based on the electrical components installed in the lock that can make the timing of key presses very important. Should the "Erase All Programming" procedure detailed in the programming manual not work, try the following process:
- Follow the "Battery Replacement" process in the manual.
- When battery is reinstalled, IMMEDIATELY press and hold the "AL" button.
- The lock will sound beeps and LED flashes. Listen for the clutch motor to operate.
- Release the "AL" button. The factory Master Code should now work.
Note: In some rare cases, the "AL" button may need to be pressed prior to the battery being re-connected (assistance by another person may be required).
