FAQs
How can I resolve an EZM trouble (E12-01 through 07) when keypad programming a GEMP-816, GEM-1632 or GEM-P1664 control panel?
When adding EZM's by means of keypad programming (in either User Mode or Dealer Mode), an EZM trouble (E12-01 through 07) may appear at the keypad after exiting programming mode.
To correct this trouble, enter Direct Address Program Mode. Depending on the number of EZM's within in the control panel, you must access addresses 1455, 1456, 1457, 1458, 1459 and 1460. If a "*1" appears when accessing each address, replace the "*1" with "00" for each.
Note: For GEM-P1664 control panels, also access addresses 1461, 1462, 1463, 1464, 1465 and 1466, and if a "*1" appears when accessing each of these addresses, replace the "*1" with "00" for each.
If the trouble continues after exiting Direct Address Program Mode, the only remaining solution is to repeat the above process using PCD-Windows Quickloader software.
NOTE: The above applies to Control Panels GEM-P816, GEM-1632, GEM-P1664 (Version 30G or 30J)
