How can I program an ambush code on the Freedom F-64 control panel with Quickloader and the F-64TP touchpad?
Quickloader Programming
1. Open the Keypad Assignment screen, Keypad Reporting and Outputs tab:
Enable Ambush (Report Topic) by selecting at least one area to Report On Alarm Telco 1.
2. Open the Keypad Assignment screen, Keypad Assignment tab:
Enable Ambush by checking this option for at least one Touchpad.
3. Open the Keypad Assignment screen, Freedom Keypad Configuration tab:
Enable Ambush Int (interval) by entering the required time in seconds for at least one Touchpad.
4. Open the Keypad Assignment screen, Freedom Keypad Configuration tab:
Enable Ambush Sounder by checking this option for at least one Touchpad
Enable Entry Sounder by checking this option for at least one Touchpad
5. Open the System Assignment screen, System Options tab:
Check the option Enable [99] as Global Ambush Code.
6. Open the Zone Assignment screen (press Ctrl+Shift+Z on the keyboard). For the appropriate zone number, click in the Zone Type column to open the Zone Configuration screen and check Exit/Entry #1.
Keypad Configuration Settings
1. Enable Keypad Configuration Mode at the control panel.
2. At the Touchpad, set the Ambush Interval by entering the required time in seconds.
3. At the Touchpad, set Keypad Sounder On to Yes.
4. At the Touchpad, set Ambush Sounder On to Yes.
Operation
When enabled, a tone will sound upon entry. To send an ambush signal, simply press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds during entry delay.
