What are the Gemini control panel firmware version requirements for use with the iRemote-MOD, NL-RCM and NL-MOD?
The iRemote-MOD is compatible with all Gemini control panels regardless of the control panel firmware version installed when used only for Virtual Keypad access. However, when using the NetLink TCP/IP communications feature for:
- Full zone reporting via TCP/IP (Internet) to the central station
and/or
- For Quickloader programming via NL-MOD or iRemote-Mod
…the following control panel firmware versions are required:
- Gemini P816................... (v30)*
- Gemini P1632................ (v30)**
- Gemini P1664................ (v30)†
- Gemini P3200/9600...... (v60)†*
- Gemini X255................... (v60)
- Gemini GEMC................ (v84)
* Must have larger IC socket on the control panel PCB board to accommodate the v30 EEPROM.
** Requires motherboard triangle version 24 or greater.
† Requires Motherboard triangle version 4 or greater.
†* Control panels that originally included firmware version 20 or greater can be upgraded to version 60a-7 or greater.
