FAQs
What is an NN-Out of System trouble code and how can I resolve this?
An NN-Out of System trouble may be displayed on the keypad(s) upon moving the keypad configuration jumper (located on the control panel PCB) from "Normal" to "Configure". If the jumper is set to "Normal" and the keypad(s) still display "Out of System", verify the control panel has been programmed for that keypad. Ensure the green and yellow data wires are undamaged (if the green and yellow wires are ever disconnected, the keypad display will read "Out of system"). If the issue persists, wire the keypad(s) directly to the control panel. If the display clears, troubleshoot or replace keypad wire(s) accordingly. Typically, an "Out of System" message indicates the communication link is unable to be maintained between the keypad and the control panel. Verify all keypads are correctly addressed; if the trouble persists, consult Technical Support. NN denotes keypad number.
