How do I supervise the connection status of the iRemote-MOD or NL-MOD should either be disconnected from the Internet?
Connect a single wire from the "Supv." output terminal on the iRemote-MOD or NL-MOD to the positive (+) side of "ANY" zone with a 2.2k resistor in parallel. The iRemote-MOD "Supv." output will go to low voltage upon losing its Internet connection, thus shorting the zone wired to the control panel. When finished, program the selected zone accordingly (for example, program as a 24-Hour Zone (silent alarm) or Day Zone).
Note: If using "Standard Security check-in" the iRemote-MOD / NL-MOD will check-in every 4 hours. If the Internet connection is not restored within 12 hours, the module will then indicate a trouble condition. If using "Fire or Encrypted Line Security" the iRemote/NL-MOD will check in every 90 seconds, therefore the module will indicate a trouble condition after 90 seconds.
