When attempting to add a new Z-Wave device to my system, the system does not seem to recognize it. What should I do?
If the Z-Wave device was in a previous network and has not been removed from that network, the device cannot be added to a new network until it is reset (removed from the previous network). Proceed as follows:
1. At the IBR-ITAB Home Screen, tap the User Settings button, then tap Z-Wave. Tap Z-Wave Device Setup "wedge", then tap Remove Device. The IBR-ITAB displays the message "Removal Started".
2. Press the device's enrollment button (some models require two presses; check the device instructions). Verify the IBR-ITAB displays the message "Node Removed".
3. Try again to add the device to your system by pressing Add Device (at the IBR-ITAB Home Screen, tap the User Settings button, tap Z-Wave, tap Z-Wave Device Setup "wedge", then tap Add Device).
The Z-Wave device should be added correctly.
