The message "TCP/IP Communication Stopped" appears when PCD-Windows Quickloader software is used to remotely upload from (or download to) a control panel using an NL-MOD Network Communication Module or an iRemote-MOD Remote Control Module. What can I do?
This message (see above) appears when the TCP/IP Communications feature is not enabled in the control panel program. To enable in Quickloader, go to the Digital Communications screen, Digital/Dialing Options tab and check the "TCP/IP Communications" checkbox. If you prefer to enable this feature using Direct Address Keypad Programming at the keypad, for the GEM-P816/P1632 control panels, enter address "2054":
- On an alphanumeric 2-line LCD keypad (GEM-RP1CAe2 or GEM-K1CA), press 1, then the ON/OFF or ENTER button to save.
For the GEM-P3200/P9600 or GEM-X255 control panels, enter address "2423":
- On an alphanumeric 2-line LCD keypad (GEM-RP1CAe2 or GEM-K1CA), press 3, then the ON/OFF or ENTER button to save.
