How do I set up the Maintained-Key Input Arming?
Normally, "Keyswitch Arming Zones" toggle arming and disarming states when momentarily shorted; when the Maintained-Key Input Arming system option is enabled, arming occurs when the zone is shorted and disarming occurs when the zone short is opened. This feature is commonly used with an ON/OFF toggle switch (but remember, it is not as secure as using a keypad with user codes). Program this feature in System Assignment > System Options as shown below:
In Zone Configuration, program the zone for Keyswitch Arming and Day Zone Open as shown:
