How do I set up my first Prima Super Panel?
Setting up your first Prima account is simple. Credentials that will allow you to access the Prima dealer portal website (www.NapcoPrima.Pro) will be emailed to you after activating your account on the NAPCO ComNet website (www.NapcoComNet.com). Follow the steps below:
- Remove the Super Panel from its factory packaging and make note of its Unit ID located behind the battery cover and on the included paperwork.
- Visit the ComNet website and follow the steps to activate your Super Panel using the Unit ID. Ensure the Super Panel is powered down during this process!
- If this is your very first Prima activation, your Prima Portal (NapcoPrima.pro) access credentials will be emailed to you after activating your account on the ComNet website. Note: The Prima Portal is for dealer access only.
- Log into the Prima Portal, power the Super Panel and simply complete the setup Wizard. Ensure you connect the Super Panel to a Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz networks work best).
- You have 40 minutes to set up your Prima system before the Prima Panel begins to automatically retrieve firmware updates. After adding your sensors, open the Super Panel home screen and let the unit remain untouched while it retrieves all needed firmware updates (this may take about 45 - 60 minutes).
Note: At the time this article was written, the latest Firmware Version was 041.016.027.007 and System Version is 2.1.2.8.
