Why is my newly installed wired doorbell not detecting motion?
If your newly installed wired doorbell camera does not detect motion, first wait 15 minutes for the automatic firmware update process to complete. Like many electronic devices, it is best to ensure the latest firmware is installed. At the time this article was written the latest firmware version is V1086. You can check the current firmware version of the doorbell in the Super Panel screen under Cameras. If after 15 minutes the camera is still not detecting motion, call NAPCO Technical Support.
Note: The latest version 1086 adds to the Prima Super Panel a configurable motion detection window option.
