Is my Z-Wave system compatible with the 300 or 500 series Z-Wave protocol?
To identify the protocol of your Z-Wave system, a sticker is located on the Z-Wave PC board inside your StarLink communicator. As shown in the below example, the sticker reads, "ZWAVEMOD3", indicating the Z-Wave protocol is "500 Plus".
Another method is to run the iBridge app. If Smart Lighting Control and Smart Thermostat Control selections appear (as shown in the example image above, at right), your system is running the Z-Wave 500 Plus protocol. Note: The Z-Wave information shown in your NAPCO NOC (www.NapcoNOC.com) account (see below example) does not reflect the Z-Wave protocol in your system.
