How do I test the GEMC heat detectors?
To trip ("test") the GEMC heat detectors:
The rate-of-rise feature may be tested by a quick application of heat from any convenient source such as a hair dryer. However, do not apply heat exceeding the fixed temperature rating of the detector.
Testing the GEMC-WL-HEAT2:
- Short the red wire terminals inside the transmitter with a jumper wire:
