It appears that the internal contact in my GEM-TRANS2 Window/Door Transmitter is not operating as intended. What should I do?
If the internal contact in a GEM-TRANS2 is not operating as intended, perform the following:
- Ensure the serial and point ID numbers are programmed correctly.
- Ensure the unit has been assigned to an "Area".
- Verify the configuration jumper settings.
- If programing and configuration settings are correct, remove the battery to power-cycle the unit.
