It appears that the internal contact in my GEM-TRANS2 Window/Door Transmitter is not operating as intended. What should I do?

If the internal contact in a GEM-TRANS2 is not operating as intended, perform the following:

1. Ensure the serial and point ID numbers are programmed correctly.
2. Ensure the unit has been assigned to an "Area".
3. Verify the configuration jumper settings.
4. If programing and configuration settings are correct, remove the battery to power-cycle the unit.
