On CA3000, why is my template not displaying when I click "Preview" in personnel?
Is this a new template or an existing template?
If an exising template is not working, you should create a new template, and determine if a new template is functional or if no templates are working.
VERY IMPORTANT: There are 4 common errors that all new users of EPI make while designing their first template. Below are 4 items you MUST follow when desiging your template.
1) Every template MUST have at least one dynamic text object on them (ex. Badge.badge)
2) Having photos on the template are optional, but if you do, you MUST use a "Dynamic Image". Under properties, and under the "Image tab", you MUST leave the "field Name" blank and keep the "Image Type" at photograph.
3) All templates MUST be saved in the "CardAccess3000" folder (ex. FirstTemplate.dgn).
4) You MUST configure the badge printer in each template. Select the printer and orientation under "File>Page Setup". Select the orientation (ex portrait or Lanscape") again under "File>Layout Properties.
