What cable do I use to wire up a modem to the CardAccess 3000 host?
The Continental Modem cable is part # CI-RFQ0001. This cable can also be used for a Lantronix cable.
VERY IMPORTANT- MODEMS ARE NOT SUPPORTED ON CA4K.
Below is the wiring for a modem -
25 pin (Computer side) POLL connector (16 Pin connector)
2 -------------------------------------------------------------4 (TXD) (Green wire)
3 -------------------------------------------------------------5 (RXD) (Red wire)
7 -------------------------------------------------------------6 (GND) (Brown wire)
22 ----------------------------------------------------------- 3 (DCD) (white wire)
4 -- 5 (jumper)
6--- 20 (jumper)
Warning: You must use the 16 pin connector, not the 6 pin connector to the left of the POLL connector.
The following is for a Super Two panel controller.
