How do I set up Air Access Bluetooth credentials?
Before setting up Air Access Bluetooth credentials, the Air Access system MUST have a Bluetooth-enabled device configured to allow a Mobile Credential to be sent after it is created in the Personnel screen.
To set up Bluetooth credentials in Air Access, the first step is to ensure the Mobile Credential-64bit is configured in Badge Formats (under the Administration heading).
After the Badge Format is configured, open the Personnel entries under Access and either create a new user or choose the user desired. For a new user entry, select the New Mobile Credential link (located below the Access Groups area) to generate the new Bluetooth credential. For existing users, click the Add Sub Badge button at the top, then click the New Mobile Credential link (also located below the Access Groups area) to generate the new Bluetooth credential. Be sure to save the user information.
After the new credential has been has been saved, open the entry for the Bluetooth credential and click the Send Mobile Credential link (located below the Access Groups area).
Choose the desired Reader from the left window and the delivery method. Finally, send the new Bluetooth credential information to the selected user.
Note: You must use the iLock app when using Bluetooth credentials.
