How can I secure my Prima power supply so it cannot be unplugged accidentally?
Included with your Prima power supply is a plastic Outlet Lock with pressure-sensitive adhesive, a cable zip tie, and a longer than usual wall plate screw. Proceed as follows:
1. Select an unswitched, non-GFCI 120VAC standard wall outlet. Remove the center wall plate screw and remove the plate.
2. (Optional) On the back of the plastic Outlet Lock, peel off the backing paper to expose the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
3. As shown, align the hole in the Outlet Lock with the screw hole in the wall plate. Press to secure.
4. Secure the wall plate with the supplied wall plate screw. The screw is longer to allow the plate to be securely attached to the wall outlet.
5. Insert the power supply into the wall outlet, ensuring the plastic prongs of the Outlet Lock grasp the power supply body:
6. Use the cable zip tie to secure the power supply (cut the excess end for a cleaner looking installation).
