How can I configure DL-Windows to automatically "Run as administrator"?

DL-Windows requires administrator rights to run (i.e., "Run as administrator"). This means that every time you run DL-Windows, you are granting DL-Windows special permissions to access certain parts of your Windows PC that would otherwise be restricted. If your PC is not configured to automatically grant DL-Windows these permissions, you must manually select "Run as administrator" every time you wish to run DL-Windows.

To save time and simplify operations, configure your PC to automatically run DL-Windows as an administrator by changing the DL-Windows security permissions, as follows:

1. Right-click the DL-Windows 5 icon and select Properties.
2. In the Security tab, select the current user and click Edit (see image below, left).

 

3. In the screen that appears (above, right), click to select the current user again, then check the Full control check box under "Allow".
4. Click Apply and try opening DL-Windows again.
