FAQs
How can I configure DL-Windows to automatically "Run as administrator"?
DL-Windows requires administrator rights to run (i.e., "Run as administrator"). This means that every time you run DL-Windows, you are granting DL-Windows special permissions to access certain parts of your Windows PC that would otherwise be restricted. If your PC is not configured to automatically grant DL-Windows these permissions, you must manually select "Run as administrator" every time you wish to run DL-Windows.
To save time and simplify operations, configure your PC to automatically run DL-Windows as an administrator by changing the DL-Windows security permissions, as follows:
- Right-click the DL-Windows 5 icon and select Properties.
- In the Security tab, select the current user and click Edit (see image below, left).
- In the screen that appears (above, right), click to select the current user again, then check the Full control check box under "Allow".
- Click Apply and try opening DL-Windows again.
