With Air Access, what are the procedures for creating and sharing Bluetooth mobile credentials?
Create a New Mobile Credential
- Select Access > Add Personnel.
- Enter the First Name and Last Name of the new user.
- Select the Access Group into which the user will be added. Note: All Door access is selected by default.
- Select New Mobile Credential
- Select the User Info tab.
- Enter the Mobile No. and Email of the new user (the Mobile No. must be 10 digits, e.g., 5165555555).
- Select Save.
The Credential screen will close and the data will be automatically downloaded to your lock.
Sending Mobile Credentials
Note: Before sending mobile credentials, have the user download and install the iLock For Continental App (available from their preferred online app store). You can send them the "Steps to provide to your employees/personnel", below.
- Double-click the New Personnel user (created above).
- On the bottom right, select Send Mobile Credential.
- Add a check to each lock the selected user will be allowed to access using their Bluetooth mobile credential.
- Select "Send SMS" or "Send E-Mail".
- After the user receives the link via SMS text message or email, instruct the user to click on the link and select Open.
- Enter/provide the cloud PIN code to the user. For security authentication, the user must enter this PIN code into the iLock app when prompted.
- Select Verify > Import.
(Steps to provide to your employees/personnel)
- Download and install the iLock For Continental App into your mobile device (available from your preferred online app store).
- Upon receiving an SMS text message (or email) containing a link, click the link and select Open.
- Enter the cloud PIN code (provided by management).
- Select Verify > Import.
