How do I reset the iSecure control panel back to its original factory default settings ("Cold Start")?
Resetting the iSecure control panel back to its factory default settings ("Cold Start") will leave your iSecure panel with a blank program. We STRONGLY recommend that before you begin, that you first back up your panel program to the iSecure Cloud Web Portal at www.iSecureByNapco.com and download the panel program back to the iSecure control panel after you finish the steps below.
1. Visit NapcoNoc.com and select Upload/Download/Save/Restore > Create Restore Point.
2. Remove power from the iSecure control panel (AC and battery) and remove the cover.
3. Install jumper JP2.
4. Re-power the control panel while keeping JP2 installed for 60 seconds. Note: The control panel cover cannot be attached to the base at this time.
5. After 60 seconds remove jumper JP2 and replace the cover.
6. The keypad display will either be blank or will read, "OUT OF SYSTEM". Note: The error code E-09 ("Cold Start") will not display because the keypad RF ID has been removed from the panel program.
7. Log into the iSecure or IBridge app. Note: The error code E-09 ("Cold Start") will display in the app keypad.
8. Log back into NapcoNoc.com for the account. A "Validation Message" popup warning will appear (example shown below). Select OK > Upload/Download/Save/Restore.
9. Select Restore From Backup (button shown below is an example).
10. Select Full Download.
11. Relearn your wireless keypads, sirens, and other devices.
